The Simulator

chassis:The raceseat gives you everything needed to create the ultimate racing experience. Compatible with most steering wheel/pedal sets. Fully adjustable at three points to accommodate racers of all heights and sizes and available in a variety of colors. Solid steel construction.


Controls:The Logitech G25 is an electronic steering wheel designed for Sim racing. It uses a USB interface.


* A wheel:
o 270 mm, leather wrapped steeringwheel.
o Range of rotation adjustable up to 900 degrees.
o 2 force feedback motors.
o Only one set of gears between motors and wheel, including an anti-backlash design.
o 2 paddleshifters.
o 2 buttons.
* A set of stainless steel pedals, including:
o Accelerator. (light spring)
o Brake (heavy spring)
o Clutch. (medium spring)
o A carpet grip which keeps the pedals in position while playing.
* A shifter unit:
o 8 buttons.
o 1 D-pad.
o A gear stick with a 6 speed 'H' pattern. Reverse is selected by pressing down and changing to 6th.
o A switch to change the gear stick to a sequential up-down mode.

Physics Engine:rFactor is a computer racing simulator designed with the ability to run any type of four-wheeled vehicle from street cars to open wheel cars of any era. rFactor aimed to be the most accurate race simulator of its time. Released in November 2005, rFactor did not have much competition in this market; however it featured many technical advances in tire modelling, complex aerodynamics and a 15 degrees of freedom physics engine.
